Peter and the wolf

(Let me tell you a story that shows the importance of always telling the truth.)

Once upon a time, in a small town, lived a little boy. His name was Peter.  He was 8 years old. He liked to play and to have fun. Peter was in charged of the sheep   of the family. Everyday after school,he took the sheep to a  beautiful meadow near the town. One day he was in the field with the  sheep. He was tired that day. He started thinking about what to do to  have fun. Suddenly he came up with an idea. He started to shout loudly: "Help, help, the wolf".
The wolf is eating my sheep" "Help".
People in the town listened to him. He sounded extremely afraid. They took their tools and some sticks and they ran to the meadow  to help him.  But when they arrived to the place Peter was, he started laughing.
"I cheated you" he said. And he laughed and laughed. The men from the town were really angry   at him and they told   him : "Don't lie to us again". Peter   promised that he wouldn't do it again.
The days passed and there Peter was in the field again. He was taking care of the sheep. And the idea of cheating   the men of the town emerged again. And what do you think he did? . You're right. He started to scream  "wolf"  again: "The  wolf  is coming, the wolf is coming". When the men in the town listened to him they thought it was real. Because they  believed in the promise  Peter made of telling the truth.
They ran   to the meadow to help him, but imagined what  happened when they returned. They found Peter laughing and saying: "Ha,ha. I cheated you again. Ha,ha."

The people  from the town were extremely . They left him with his sheep and they returned to the town.

But the destiny is fair. One day the wolf  really appeared. Peter started screaming and asking for help. But nobody in  the town ran to help him. They listened to the screams but nobody helped him. The wolf ate all his sheep . Peter was  really sad. He returned to the  town and told everybody what happened. The men and the women were sad  for him  but they told him: "We hope you have learned your lesson".Peter  answered: "Yes, I learned that I must  always tell the truth".

A Tough Choice

A: Beer is a powerful drug.

B: So are cigarettes.

A: Which would you prefer?

B: What do you mean?

A: When you die and go to heaven, they will offer you beer or cigarettes.

B: I could pick only one or the other?

A: Yes. Nothing's perfect, not even in heaven.

B: Boy, that's a tough one.

A: What's so tough about it? Of course, I would pick cigarettes.

B: But cigarettes taste much better when you have a cold beer.

A: Well, you can't have everything.

B: I don't think I want to go to your heaven.

THE TWO HUNTERS

"Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He

doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other

man pulls out his phone and calls emergency services. He gasps to

the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator in a

calm, soothing voice replies: "Take it easy. I can help. First, let's

make sure he's dead."

There is a silence, then a shot is heard.

Back on the phone, the hunter says, "Ok, now what?"

The Frogs and the Well

Two frogs lived together in a marsh. But one hot summer the marsh dried up, and they left it to look for another place to live in for frogs; like damp places if they can get them. By and by they came to a deep well, and one of them looked down into it, and said to the other, "This looks a nice cool place. Let us jump in and settle here." But the other, who had a wiser head on his shoulders, replied, "Not so fast, my friend. Supposing this well dried up like the marsh, how should we get out again?"
